Abstract

Dalam sekolah, di mana proses penerimaan peserta didik baru dengan cara offline atau online menggunakan WordPress yang penggunaannya masih kurang efektif. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, perlu dibangun sebuah sistem yang mampu menangani proses pengelolaan data dan berbagai proses lainnya agar pelayanan penerimaan peserta didik baru bisa menjadi lebih optimal, baik berupa informasi maupun laporan secara tepat dan mudah. Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Web ini di analisa dengan metode sword serta di rancang menggunakan metode waterfall, Unified Modeling Language (UML), mysql, php dan di uji coba dengan metode black box untuk menangani proses pengolahan data yang berupa data calon siswa baru Sistem aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak SMP Islamic Centre dalam mengolah data serta mampu meningkatkan kinerja dan proses pelayanan terhadap calon siswa.
