Abstract

Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam
pendidikan kejuruan di SMK PGRI 1 Tangerang. Sistem lama yang digunakan dalam proses
pengelolaan pkl bersifat manual, yang menyebabkan berbagai kendala seperti penanganan
dokumen yang tidak efisien, komunikasi yang tidak optimal, serta potensi terjadinya
keterlambatan dan kesalahan. Oleh karena itu, Tujuan penulisan laporan kerja praktek ini
adalah untuk mempermudah guru, siswa, dan perusahaan dalam sistem pkl, dimana sistem
berjalan yang ada sebelumnya yaitu siswa harus melakukan pendaftaran yang masih manual,
guru dan perusahaan menerima laporan harian dengan menggunakan buku jurnal, Metode
pengumpulan data digunakan yang oleh penulis dalam melakukan penelitian ini meliputi
wawancara,observasi, dan studi pustaka yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi.
Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan UML sebagai metode perancangan sistem,
Sedangkan Metode analisa sistem yang dipakai penulis adalah metode Performance,
Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, dan Service (PIECES) dan metode pengembangan
sistem yang dipakai adalah metode prototyping.
