Abstract

Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pemeliharaan
jalan rel kereta api. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang dalam penulisan laporan
ini adalah masalah yang sering terjadi di maintenance perawatan siklus jalan rel
adalah factor internal dan exsternal. Pada sistem pemeliharaan jalan kereta api
yang dibatasi pada prasarananya yaitu pemeliharaan rutin wesel sehingga
prasarana yang lain tidak dibahas. Jalan rel mengalami berbagai macam
perubahan yang diakibatkan oleh adanya beban-beban yang bekerja pada jalan rel
dan juga akibat beberapa fenomena alam yang merugikan, berkaitan dengan sifat�sifat fisik bahan.
