Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan literasi
matematika siswa antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem
Based Learning (PBL) dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran model
pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Quasi
Eksperimen Design dengan desain penelitian Non-equivalent Control Group
Design. Subjek populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN
17 Tangerang yang berjumlah siswa, dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak dua kelas
sebanyak 71 siswa, yaitu kelas 7.3 sebanyak 35 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan
kelas 7.4 sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data
dengan menggunakan instrumen soal tes kemampuan literasi matematika yang
berbentuk essay dan sebanyak 5 soal yang valid dan realibel. Hasil pengujian
hipotesis post-test dari hasil uji t di dapat sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang
berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara rata-rata nilai post-test kelas
kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.
